Chrome

>> 25 October 2009

I used the Chrome beta for a while. Then went back to Firefox. Use Safari on the Mac at work. Now, back to Chrome.

Of the three browsers, Chrome definitely looks the best - and the hybrid navigation/search bar is a handy feature. Firefox has been my main browser for so many years, though...it's hard to leave it behind.

So, what browser do you use?

Firefox has been giving me problems lately. What are the advantages of using Chrome?

They haven't published Chrome for Ubuntu, have they?

Mom - It has a fancy java script engine which basically makes certain web-apps faster.

Erik - Linux and Mac versions are still forthcoming...although I think there is a Linux beta version available.

Chrome has easily the best interface. It's really accessible and stable... even more so than firefox. It's still not compatible with a few common web apps, like ESPN 360, that's the downside.

On the whole, it's pretty awesome.
